Minecraft

Minecraft was created in November 2011 by Markus Persson also known by his alias Notch. Minecraft started as a personal experiment by Persson and then found it to be practical enough to be suitable for professional development Minecraft then became a huge hit after it was further developed and published by the company Mojang the company Persson worked for with millions of people crafting getting the game through Steam and its website. Minecraft has a unique sandbox system where it provides you with infinite resources where you can craft whatever u please it satisfies all of your creative needs it’s called Creative Mode and that is what I find fascinating about the game.

Sim City

The first Sim City was created and developed by Will Wright and was later published by Maxis game company in 1989 It is a game where one has to make a foundation and develop their own city. Sim City was originally not thought to turn out to be an extremely popular game franchise but the unexpected success of the first game prompted Will to make sequels for it, game play didn’t change much but the graphics obviously was better than the first because of improved technology and it had extra features like you can make unexpected events to happen like generate a tornado for instance. Ive played the fourth instalment of the game once and I really did enjoy seeing my city grow it was a great game and it also helped me understand the troubles and hardships our engineers and majors go through when you play the game you do really develop some kind of bond with your city people. I also find it interesting to observe what the people of my city would if I suddenly generated a tornado out of nowhere.
